Relaxation Station

This bathroom was so much fun for a number of reasons: 1. The client had a vision for the space, they wanted a crisp blue and white design. 2. They came prepared with a list of “gotta haves, wanna haves and it sure would be nice to have” 3. The bathroom provided a large enough footprint that we were able to give them everything on their list. We were able to provide them with a reader’s paradise.

Maximizing storage is always a goal when remodeling a bathroom, we try to utilize every nook and cranny. The tall utility keeps everyday items close at hand, such as towels and extra toilet paper. While the toilet topper cabinet can hold band-aids, acetaminophen, allergy medications and other miscellaneous “necessary items”.

This beautiful soaking tub harkens back to a long ago era, the wooden tray that extends over the edges of the tub holds all of the essentials, a pair of glasses, a glass of wine and an engaging book. The bookshelf behind the tub holds bath salts and oils as well as a selection of books yet to be read.

If you are an avid reader in the tub, you will certainly need a dry, safe space for books. This beautiful tall bookcase serves just such a purpose, it also holds bath salts and oils and maybe a candle or two. This allows the Owners to create their own spa like atmosphere without ever leaving their home.

This soaking tub takes the traditional slipper tub and adds just a hint of streamlined contemporary vision, this is a beautiful expression of minimalism, no extra curves or curliques just an honest, streamlined luxury tub. This style of tub has the ability to stand the test of time. It will not be dated or stale in 5 years
